The Sea Urchin
The Sea Urchin Room is inspired by a fascinating creature called a Sea Urchin. The Sea urchin has long sharp-looking spines. In Barbados Sea Urchins are known as Sea Eggs. Sea eggs are seasonally harvested for their roe, a nutritious and tasty delicacy. Some Barbadian men believe eating sea eggs increases their virility. Relax in our gardens or on the beach. This room has no windows as it is an interior room.

Monkey Business
The Monkey Business Room is inspired by the mischievous Barbados Green Monkeys. This room can be reserved by itself as a separate accommodation or joined with The Palm room for a family accommodation. Monkeys live in communities all over the island. The monkey population in Barbados is approximately 14,000.

The Bamboo Room is inspired by the Bamboo plant. One of the best places to see large bamboo plants in Barbados is at Welchman Hall Gully. Welchman Hall gully is where the grapefruit was first invented. A grapefruit is a cross between the sweet orange and the pomelo or shaddock.

The Heliconia Room is inspired by the “Pink Flamingo Heliconia” also known as the “Sexy Pink Heliconia”. This vibrant tropical flower grows withing the lush hillsides of Flower Forest in the parish of St Thomas in Barbados. The word “Heliconia” is derived from Greek Helikōnios, from Helikōn Helicon, mountain in Greece.

The Banyan Room is inspired by our grand Banyan tree in front of our property. The banyan represents self-awareness through reflection, meditation, silence and a quieting of one's mind. Banyans are majestic and beautiful, exotic and heroic, mysterious and magnificent: a sight to behold for any traveler. To be beneath the splayed branches and giant pillars of a grand old banyan is to feel a certain calm: these trees have an undeniable presence, exuding a noble, timeless and benevolent aura.
